A loan of $325 helped increase Merchandise.

Deyci's story

Deyci is 34 years old, she is married and has three children. At the moment she lives at her godmother's house. It has been 5 years since she started making a living by selling processed wool. She brings the processed wool directly from Lima and she sells it at 12 Soles per Kilo. She also buys tapistries and every time she travels to the capital she offers them to her clients. Her business generates a good source of income for her when she travels to and from the capital. She is really happy being a dynamic woman that is capable of running a business. Her goal is to save up some money and buy her own home where she can continue her work. Right now she rents a space for her business from her godmother. Deyci is one of MFP's clients. She decided to be part of a communal bank because one of her friends invited her and told Deyci about the methods they teach that help people to improve their businesses. The money that she will get from this first loan will help her increase her merchandise, so that she will have all of the colors of wool that she needs for her establishment.
