Chea's story

Chea C. is a 48 years old mother of five children; four of them are living in the family home under her care and the other is married. (Chea C. was not available for photographing. The picture is of her husband.)

Chea wants her son to have a suitable business to invest in. She is applying for a $1200 loan as capital in order to purchase a new motorcycle belong to her son to begin as a taxi driver.

Chea presently is a building worker for a small firm in the Siem Reap province. She is married to Mr. Seang, age 43, who is a motorcycle taxi driver.

The family lives in Siem Reap province, in Cambodia.
