A loan of $725 helped to buy construction materials.

Lidia's story

Señora Lidia, from the time that she was very small, has been selling fried fish and the Bolivian fish soup known as "Wallake". In the morning she is selling these with her mother at a busy crossroads in a populous area of the city of La Paz, and in the afternoons in Illampu Street in the city center. She lives with her school age daughter who helps her with preparing the soup. The loan will be invested in the purchase of construction materials to finish the bedroom area that her mother fixed up for her in their house.
