A loan of $425 helped to buy material for her handicrafts.

Isabel's story

Isabel is a 43-year-old mother who is very concerned about the well-being of her family. She has three children named Edith, Cristian and Kelly, aged 14, 12 and 8. She would like to afford them a good education and a better life.

Isabel has a handicraft business; she makes decorations out of beads, sequins, etc. She sells her decorations to seamstresses and artisans who give her a good price for her work. Isabel enjoys selling her decorations, especially when all her merchandise sells out – something that happens frequently. The difficulty is transferring her material to all the places she needs to sell, because it's tiring and transportation is expensive.

She's had this business for 4 years and hopes to increase the amount of decorations she crafts as she is conscious of the fact that increasing her income is the only way to give her children a better education.

This is Isabel's second loan with MFP and she's prepared to pay it back in full. Isabel is well-loved by the associates of the Communal Bank and counts on their support. With this loan, she will buy more material to make her decorations and as such increase her income.
