Comfort's story

Comfort D. has a senior high education and is the mother of three children. Her husband is a trader, and she assists him with the housekeeping expenses.

Since 2003 Comfort has run a restaurant in Adisadel village in Cape Coast, where she serves a variety of local dishes such as fufu (made from pounding together cassava and plantain). Her loan will be used to buy more spices, ingredients and food items for her restaurant. Comfort hopes to use the new profits from her business to save towards the completion of the family home.
