Carla's story

Carla is 19 years old. She is a single university student and lives only with her mother. She is dedicated to the art of handicrafts: she makes shoes adorned with beadwork. She relies on the support of her mom, who feels very proud of her spirit of work and study. She has already worked at this activity for 2 years, and she likes it because it is the art that was born in her since she was very small. Besides this, it is profitable because she can count on a lot of clients in the university that she attends. Nevertheless, this is not her only activity. She is also the owner of a three-wheeled delivery van, which she has driven as a private chauffeur for one year and she administers the profits herself. Subsequently, Carla wants to have a shoe store. This is her second loan with MFP. She likes to work with her communal bank because they gave her the opportunity to get ahead and they require a lot of communication and strict responsibility among all. She will invest the money that she requests in buying insoles for shoes and beadwork materials, to continue making her pretty footwear.
