A loan helped a member buying more medicines for the pharmacy and paying for the care of her animals.

Jane's Group's story

N. Jane is a business woman with a pharmacy business that she has been running for over 8 years. She is 36-years-old and a mother of 6 children, as she cares for 2 orphaned children. At her pharmacy, Jane works as a nurse as well as a midwife by offering treatments for sicknesses and minor surgeries, plus midwifery services to mothers. Since Jane works from her home, she is able to rear animals at home like cows, goats, pigs, and chickens under her close supervision. It is also helpful that she does not have extra rent costs. She needs a loan to restock her pharmacy with more medicines and to pay for people to take care of the feed for her animals.
