Neang R. is 39 years old and lives with his wife and young daughter in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. R. is a police officer and can make about $3.00 per day. His wife (pictured here) is a hairdresser and her business can generate about $10.00 of revenue per day. They hope to use this loan to purchase more hairdressing tools in order to expand their business. In the future, they hope to open a much larger hairdressing shop and employ other workers to help them. They hope to make enough money so that one day they can build a concrete house. Eventually, they want to be able to send their daughter to university.
