A loan of $1,200 helped production and sale of manioc flour and growing corn.

Akoélé's story

Mrs. Akoélé D. was born on December 31, 1970 in Dalavé. Married and the mother of three children, her principal money-earning activity is limited to the production and sale of manioc flour and growing corn. She works at these businesses to support her family. However, her production level does not allow her to earn enough to cover all the different needs of her family in regard to the education of her children, and above all the girls of school age. For this reason, she is requesting a loan that will allow her to buy bulk quantities of manioc, so as to produce manioc flour in larger quantity and be able to improve her living conditions.
