A loan of $1,000 helped a member to buy woodland and marine products.

Tacku Liguèye De Tessito 2 Group's story

We’ve finished repaying the loan we were granted by Kiva and would like a renewal because Kiva is a partner we trust and which, due to the ease demonstrated, has enabled us to work with dignity and without too many constraints. Thus, thanks to the first loan, we managed to establish small-scale commerce which helps us to manage the day-to-day of our families, since every group member works every day, whereas this could not be done previously. The next loan will allow us to stock a large number of goods and to allow us to go to fairs, which are set up in various towns in the region for moving seasonal goods (mangoes, oranges, dried fish, palm oil) and any other kind of domestically-consumed goods.
