A loan helped to buy a cow for her dairy farm.

Riffat's story

Riffat is the age of 28 and a mother of four children living with her spouse and children in the area of Multan, Pakistan. She engages in dairy farming to earn an income. She started her factory 10 years ago because she wanted to help her husband support the family and meet the household expenses. She has buffaloes and cows in her small dairy farm that produce milk, which she sells in her town. By breeding her buffalo, her husband has been increasing his herd over the years. Riffat wants to buy a cow for her dairy farm to earn a proper income, but due to insufficient financial means she is unable to buy a cow for her dairy farm. She has decided that she would like to increase the number of cows in her dairy farm so that she can earn a better profit for her family. She has become an expert in dairy farming. Therefore, Riffat has demanded a loan so she will be able to buy a cow. Riffat is thankful to Kiva and field partner BRAC Pakistan.
