Nelda Nohemy's story

38-year old Nelda is a single mother of a son. She lives with her parents in the municipality of Ocotepeque near Gracias Lempira. For more than ten years she has earned her living from her own business selling clothing for men, women and children, toys and and fine jewellery.

So she can continue with her work, Nelda has asked for a loan of 15,000 lempiras to buy seasonal items for Independence Day such as shirts, school footwear, socks, skirts, t-shirts, and jewellery. With these purchases she expects to increase sales and grow as small businesswoman so she can bring economic stability to her family.
