Ni Made Karti's story

Ni Made Karti lives in "Katulampa" village with her husband, I Ketut Derken and her son, I Gede Indra Purnawan. She lives in her own home, not a rental, but the land is owned collectively by her family. I Ketut Derken, Ni Made Karti's husband works as a farmer. Her husband's income is barely sufficient to pay for daily expenses. She still needs additional income to pay for her son's grade school tuition. So she started to farm pigs to supplement her family's income. Currently, Ni made Karti owns 2 breeding pigs, one male and 8 fattening pigs. In 6 months, Ni Made Karti spends about $40 to purchase feeds for her pigs. So to pay for her business' daily expense, she required DINARI's help. Through this program, Ni Made Karti hopes that her business can grow and her dream that her son finish all his education can come true and her household income can improve.
