Preas's story

P. is a 53-year-old resident of Siem Reap Province. She has six children: one is married and lives separately; one works as a tour guide with his tourist car; and the other four are students. She is married to Lon, 63, who is a local construction foreman.

P. is a traditional Khmer noodle seller in the Cung Kneas market. She has been in this business since 2002 and she earns up to $5 per day. She is famous for she is good at making tasty cuisine of her noodles.

She wants to have a shop with a comfortable location in the market so that she can serve her customers more kindly. P. is looking for a loan of $1,000 to build a shop for her noodle-selling business and to renovate her house for her family. She dreams to have degrees for her children and a big house for her family.
