Grime Pastora's story

Grime F. is a businesswoman and sells popular consumer products. She runs a pulpería (small store) from her home called Pulpería GEMELAS. Because of the store’s location, she is able to work and also care for her home. Grime works all day – her store opens at 6 am and closes at 10 pm. She has owned her business for 12 years. She is thankful to all the people who have helped her be successful during these hard and long years.

Grime knows how to administer her business very well. Her clients prefer her store now that she has developed a relationship with them and treats them well. What her clients most like about her store is that the prices of her products are affordable for the members of her community, most of whom have few economic resources.

She has two children and her partner owns a cinder block factory, located in the town of Ojo de Agua. Together, they are creating a better life and are able to cover all of the household costs. However, they now need to increase their stock and expand their business, so they can provide a better service for their customers.
