A loan of $125 helped spare parts for bikes.

Jonah's story

Jonah O. is a 24-year-old father of two children aged 3 and 1 and a half. He repairs bicycles and when he can afford it sells spare parts. He is looking for a loan because he currently cannot afford the spare parts needed to repair bikes. He wishes that borrowers could come see where he lives.

Jonah recently joined the K-MET volunteer Community Health Worker (CHW) group in Kisumu, Kenya. As a CHW he will be trained by K-MET and will begin visiting members of his community who are sick with a variety of illnesses. His work will include distributing Nutriflour (a vitamin-enriched flour produced by K-MET) to malnourished patients, providing reproductive health education, referring patients to local clinics and hospitals, and providing basic health care.
