Rosmery's story

Rosmery L. C. is a member of the “Virgen de Asunción” Communal Bank, in the Yunguyo district of the Yunguyo province, in the Puno area. She is 26-years-old, lives with her partner, and has 2 children. She has completed part of her higher studies (degree in nursing). She has worked with Movimiento Manuela Ramos for 3 years. She has a business of selling manna. Her first loan was for 300 nuevos soles, a sum that served as additional capital for the purchase of ingredients for her business (corn and rice). She currently wants to receive an additional sum of 1500 nuevos soles and has committed to repaying the amount in 4 monthly payments. With this loan, she will be able to acquire ingredients in order to make her products (corn, sugar, rice, etc.). She will sell her products at fairs and local markets on the Bolivian border. Her dream is to buy a house and help her children become professionals.
