Alicia Hidalgo's story

Mrs. Alicia Hidalgo S. D. Q. belongs to the “Nuestra Señora D. la Paz” Community Bank. She lives at 981 Jr. Martínez D. Compagñon St. in the Tarapota district of the San Martín region. She is 46 years old, married and the mother of 3 children. Two of her children are adults and 1 is still a dependent.

Alicia started on her own with 300.00 PEN. She sold condiments on Jr. Tahuantinsuyo St., block 7. She has worked with the Bank for 4 years.

She is currently in the same business. She would like to help her business with the loan of 1,500.00 PEN that she will pay back in 6 months. She will buy more products like chili powder, pepper, cumin, oregano in kilos, special spices in kilos to prepare food as well as vinegar and soy sauce in boxes, etc.

Today she feels more independent and confident since she is making her own decisions about her business and the income it generates.

Alicia is grateful to the Manuela Ramos organization for allowing her to grow as a business owner and as a Woman.
