Khosiyat's story

K. Khosiyat is 39 years old. She is married and the loving mother of 4 children. With the purpose to support her family, Khosiyat is selling underwear for women. She has been in this business already for 14 years. Over these years, she gained the experience in choosing goods of good quality that meet the requirements of customers with various levels of income.



The business is very stable which allows Khosiyat to improve the living of the family. Khosiyat has been working with IMON for almost 3 years. She managed her previous loans with accuracy and made all the payments in a timely manner. Today Khosiyat is requesting 1275 US Dollars in order to expand her inventory. Khosiyat would like to thank everyone supporting her and to ensure them that she’ll pay back the loan in 12 months.

These conditions have resulted in high levels of unemployment and have forced hundreds of thousands to seek work in other countries, mainly Russia. While the people of Tajikistan are working to improve its agricultural production and manufacturing sector, nearly two-thirds of the population still live in abject poverty.
