A loan of $600 helped purchase fabric, thread and other goods.

Dominga Clementina's story

Dominga is 50 years old and lives in a neighborhood in the capital city Managua. She is married and has three independent adult children. She has been offering sewing services for four years. She started the work in order to bring in additional income for her household. She took advantage of the demand that there was in the area where she lived, Muelle de los Bueyes, which is a port. Being a seamstress is honest work that she can do in her own home, which leaves her time to start new business projects, including selling the clothes that she makes and other products such as shoes, cosmetics and imported clothes. All of this helps improve Dominga's economic situation. The loan that she has requested is for the purchase of materials for her business, such as fabric, thread, buttons, elastic, cosmetics, shoes, blouses, pants, etc. This will produce more profit and give her more economic stability.
