A loan of $1,200 helped to diversify her grocery items.

Tom's story

Tom S., 32, is married and lives in the Prey Veng province with her three children. She works in a grocery store, making around US$5 each day. Her husband, pictured here, typically makes US$7 every day as a trailer driver.

Inflation has driven up prices all across Cambodia and many Cambodians have faced economic struggles. Tom S. has approached CREDIT for a loan of US$1,200 to diversify her grocery items. She feels that this investment can increase her income and raise her standard of living.
