Sabina's Group's story

Sabina has been a charcoal seller in the Ipagala neighborhood of Dodoma for 3 years.She currently earns an average monthly profit of $225. Every day she works at her business for 12 hours. Sabina is requesting her first loan from BRAC Tanzania so that she can buy more charcoal for her business. She is hoping that through this loan, her profit will increase and she will be able to expand her business, improve her home and pay school fees for her children.

Sabina is 38 years old, married, and has four children between the ages of 8 and 20. She also cares for two additional dependents. She will be sharing this loan with her fellow group member, Asha: Who also has her own small business in Dodoma.
