A loan helped to buy a dairy cow.

Myri's story

Myri, a poor villager and father of two in his 60s, needs your financial help to buy a dairy cow.

Myri's focus for almost a decade has been on agriculture. He asks, "What else could I do having no other skills?"

He owns land, where he plants lima and black beans, wheat, corn, potatoes and red and white beets. He sells most of the products to wholesale buyers.

He says his region, including his village, is blessed, because the soil is very supportive of many types of grains as well as beans, onions, potatoes and apples. To help transport his goods, he's got a horse.

With his two sons, he also gathers wild medicinal plants in the mountains around him, but they don't always find buyers for the plants.

At the moment, Myri has a cow that has not been producing milk lately, due to its age. This is why he wants to buy another dairy cow.
