A loan helped a member to purchase more second-hand clothing to sell.

Isano Group's story

Clemantine is a single 31-year-old woman, who has assumed the care and responsibility of four orphans. She is the leader of Isano Group and is pictured above sitting on the right side holding a paper in her hands. Clemantine works hard to support her family and provide them with a better life. For the past 14 years Clemantine has sold second-hand clothing.

Every morning Clemantine opens her shop at 8 am and works tirelessly until her daily supply is sold. Sometimes she is required to venture outside the confines of her shop to sell her items door to door. She is requesting a loan from Kiva, via Vision Finance Company, to expand her business buy purchasing additional inventory for her resale business. Because the cost second-hand items are less than new items, she will be able to maximize the value of her loan and increase her profit margin. With her profits, she will be able to get medical insurance for the orphans under her care and will use the remaining profit to expand her current second-hand offerings.
