Villa Cumaravi Group's story

The association, so-called 'Villa Cumaravi', is one of the oldest, and has belonged to the family of pro-women for more than 10 years now. It has reached 21 cycles of credit, and is found in the zone of Senkata, in the city of El Alto, which at this date counts 14 active members and has demonstrated to be an organised group, in terms of loan payments. It is a very individual group, now that the members have a man as president of the association, which is different to the rest of the groups.

Different businesses exist within the assocation, such as preparation and sale of food, sales of sweets and other candies in stalls, others have suburban shops and some are artesans. The association Villa Cumaravia states that they need more capital to buy products, mainly to increase their sales, to obtain better earnings, with the sole objective of improving the economic situation of their homes.
