Dalila's story

Dalila started an internet cafe with her daughter just two months ago. Initially, she had an handicrafts workshop with her husband, which they used to cover their family expenses. Unfortunately, her husband died quite young, and Dalila had to find another job. Over the past seven years, she worked in other people's homes and then worked as a traveling saleswoman in Huaycán, selling candy, pacifiers, soft drinks and detergent. At 58 years of age, she has united with her daughter to start this new business, and counts on her to help cover living expenses. In the future, she hopes to put a candy case in her internet cafe.
