Moul's Group's story

This loan is being requested by eight borrowers, all of whom are people living in BattambA. Province, Cambodia. The group leader, Mr. S., age 41, who is a Cambodia military policeman, gets a salary of $75 a month. He si married with three children who are still single. His wife's name is Soeum, 39, and she currently earns a living selling local vegetables in the market. S. is asking for a loan for his wife to use as capital to expand their business selling vegetables.

The other seven members who joined the loan are:

S. A. is a military policemen and he requests a loan to cultivate his rice crop.

P. is a rice farmer and she needs a loan for rice growing.

P. is a local rice planter and she asks for a loan to replace her old motorcycle.

S. sells groceries from home and she wants a loan to enlarge her business.

S. is a cultivator and she is applying for a loan to build a stall for raising chickens.

S. is a fish seller and she is requesting a loan to build a cow stall.

S. is a bean grower and she has applied for a loan for her business activities.
