A loan of $1,200 helped to purchase fertilizer and gas for the harvesting machines.

Ma Yann Wa Village Group A's story

The featured borrower, Zaw (pictured center), is married with three children. Two of his children are students and the eldest is a teacher. Zaw farms and plants seasonal foods such as bananas, betel leaves and coconuts. When the weather isn't good, it is very difficult for the farmers during the cropping period. Therefore Zaw hopes to make more improvements in the farm this year.

Proximity's loan will help Zaw purchase fertilizer and gas for the harvesting machines.
