Mrs. Romana D., 59 years old, married, lives in Tawi-tawi, Aloran, Misamis Occidental. She is blessed with five children. Her husband is government employee. Romana thought of a project that could help her husband particularly on meeting financial needs of her family. She then ventured on pig raising, starting up with only one piglet. Needing capital to finance the daily feeds of her piglet, she then joined PMPC last July 2008 and availed of loans to increase the number of her piglets. Now, she applies for PHP 14,900 loan to buy one sow and a few sacks of feeds for the piglets. She plans to raise them but some of it will be sold to Sotto Meat Dealer. Romana will be very happy and excited if she sees all her piglets grow healthy, for she knows that this will be additional income for her family. She hopes to see her children finish their studies as it will be a great fulfillment for her as a mother.
