A loan of $425 helped purchase Fabric.

Mirta Virginia's story

Mirta has been married for about 29 years to Saturnino Bernal, who she has five children with. Her children are Gustavo, Mario, Mauricio and Laura and they are all grown. Doña Mirta has made a living as a seamstress since she was 17 years old. She learned how to do the job with her mother. The job has always allowed her to provide for her family.

With the loan through The Foundation she will be able to buy fabric so that she can then make school uniforms and other uniforms as well. With the rest of the loan she plans to buy an industrial sewing machine.
