A loan of $825 helped purchase of general store items - flour, soda, and other food items.

Julian's story

Julian M., 48 years of age, is married and has four children. His wife is Cerafina de M., and both are merchants who work together constantly. In 2001 Julian set up his store, which continues to this day, growing steadily. He also augments his income by the sale of yucca flour.

His loan request is to purchase, wholesale, additional merchandise for his store. His dream is to be able to provide a good education for his children, who need his assistance because education is expensive, and which requires both husband and wife to work. His wife helps him run the store, while he takes care of the sale of the yucca.
