A loan helped to purchase fertilizer, gas for cropping machines and pay for hired labor.

Kha Lout Tayar Village Group 2's story

The funds will help the group of 30 members. Ohm, the featured borrower, is 55 years old, single and lives with her siblings and nephews. She has a 25-acre family farm and mostly spends her time working there. This loan will help her purchase fertilizer and gas for farming machines. Because of the unstable weather and insects on the farm, villagers are having difficulties while cropping. She wants her nephews to be developed and plans to open grocery stores for them.

Kha Lout Tayar Village is located in the Myanmar Ayeyarwaddy River at Delta Region and they mainly focus on crop farming. They also plant betel leaves and seasonal foods for additional income.
