Suha's story

Suha is 43-year old and lives in one of the poor areas in Jordan and is married with four children.

Suha has had a talent since childhood which is embroidery and knitting. She confined her talent to making small pillows and frames to decorate the house and traditional clothes, which lead her to thinking to open a small project to become a source of income for her and her family.

Suha began achieving her dream, took classes and participated in a charity bazaar. Then she started making pillows, embroidering pictures and traditional clothes and sold these products at home.

The high cost of living and increasing unemployment rate among women, made Suha think about expanding her work and to open a shop to sell her products. She believes that she will help for a reduction of unemployment and Increase her sales, so she apply for a loan to start the first step from her dream. She will use this loan to buy yarn and cloth and to replace her sewing machine to increase her products complete.
