Rhulangane A Group's story

Hamuli is a merchant and the president of the community bank “Rhulangane A”. She is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima, and she is 54 years old and the married mother of nine children, all in school. She has been a vendor of secondhand shoes at a market in town for thirty years. She began her business with funds from her husband, who is a government representative.

To grow her business, Hamuli is going to purchase 10 bales of shoes. Her wish is to provide schooling and food for her children. In conclusion, she thanks Hekima for its support of unbanked entrepreneurs.
