A loan of $700 helped buy more stock.

Betsabeth's story

Betsabeth is 32; she lives with her husband and their 2 children in a house which they own. She sells food and other merchandise in a small store which she set up a year ago.

The store is open all day from Monday to Saturday. Having the store enables Betsabeth to be at home with her children while earning income. Her future plans are to expand the store to include school supplies, since she lives near a school. Betsabeth is ready to take this step as she doesn't want to let the opportunity slip by.

This is the fourth time Betsabeth has applied for a loan from MFP. She is one of the most active members of her community bank and is an example to all for her punctuality. She wants the loan to buy more merchandise for her store, and to expand it to sell school supplies.
