A loan of $350 helped to buy bundles of clothing.

Leopoldo's story

Leopoldo started his business out of the need to get ahead since being let go from the agency where he used to work and because his age makes it very difficult to find a new job. For these reasons he decided to begin working alone in sales to help his family get ahead. He began a business in April of 2007 driving a taxi, and it didn't go too badly for him. Meanwhile, his brother was selling clothing and he saw that he had many customers and good earnings, so he talked about it with him and his brother helped him get started selling used clothing. He began by buying a bundle of clothing to see how things would go and sold it very quickly. In just a short amount of time he had many customers.

From the time he began up until now things have gone pretty well for him. He has a lot of customers and at the same time many orders and is now working out of a rented spot to be able to sell clothing there in addition to selling it door to door as he has always done.

He needs a loan of 5,000 MXN ($350 USD) that he will repay in eight installments (within 3 months) that will help him buy more bundles of clothing to meet requests and have a better selection to offer to his customers.
