She previously repaid her first loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute in Pakistan), and is now applying for a new one to buy more dry fruits to sell.

Yasmeen is a group leader of three other women in her community:

Zarina baji wants a loan to buy vehicle wheels to sell;

Munawar baji is requesting a loan to purchase cosmetics to sell;

Ameeran baji wants a loan to buy seasonal fruits to sell.

The funds for this group loan will be distributed among the members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members guarantee one another's loans, so if one does not repay, the others are responsible.
