Tafuteni Group's story

Rose has owned a small electronics equipment shop in the Tengeru neighborhood of Arusha for 5 years. Every day she works at her business from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. She currently earns an average monthly profit of $225. She is requesting her first loan from BRAC Tanzania so that she can buy more electronics items for her business. She is hoping that through this loan, her profit will increase and she will be able to grow her business.

Rose is 28 years old and married with two children. She will be sharing this loan with her fellow group members, Eliwandesha and Afrasion, who each has her own small business in Arusha.
