Salamatzhan's story

Salamatzhan is 61, married, and the mother of 4 children. She has the equivalent of a high school education and has worked for many years as a crop and livestock farmer. All the children in the family actively help with chores. Salamatzhan currently has 4 cows, a horse, and 20 sheep on her farm, as well as a 1.0-hectare plot of her own land for growing carrots. Salatmatzhan's monthly income is around 16,000 som. For the future development of her farm, she's turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 100,000 som to buy livestock for increasing the size of her herd. The income from her business will help Salamatzhan develop and further expand her business.
