A loan of $625 helped purchase beer and soft drinks for his store.

Juan Alberto's story

Juan is a member of the communal bank Maria de la Paz. He is 41 years old and lives with his common law wife. He has a 13 year old son who studies in public school.

Juan is studying business administration and decided to open a business but the businesses he started did not go well for him as he was defrauded and assaulted. However, he managed to succeed with the support of his family and with a settlement he received from the company he worked for. He started another business five years ago selling liquor. The name of his store is "Yemba - Yemba."

Juan has had several businesses and the most profitable one has been the sale of beer and soft drinks. Since he has been in FINCA, Juan has been able to maintain a stock of merchandise. In the communal bank he has learned of the unity between members.

Juan needs a loan in the amount of 2000 soles to purchase beer and soft drinks. Juan's dream is for his son to become a professional and to open chains of his business in other districts.
