A loan of $625 helped buy goods for her shop.

Lidia's story

Lidia has just turned 35 years old. She is a single mother with 3 children, who live in her own house. Years ago she lived in a rural village, cultivating fruit plants, but owing to the needs and costs for her children, she saw it necessary to migrate from her village to create a bigger business that could cover the needs of her children. It's for this reason that she dedicated herself to the sale of fruits by cart, 3 years ago. She did very well, resulting in a profitable business, and thanks to this she was able to acquire land where afterwards she built her house from wood with the help of her family. There she established her business selling chicken meat, which little by little has captured more clients and has permitted her to obtain good earnings. It's because of this business that Lidia is very happy, because she also has been able to add a small business selling beer in the same establishment. She has just received the position of treasurer at her communal bank, which makes her happy, for the confidence that it shows. This is her 5th loan with MFP and in all this time she has repaid the loans with great responsibility. With the money that she is requesting this time, she will invest it in her chicken sale business, and will also buy more fruit, and will increase the amount of beer that she sells.
