Gladys Jannette's story

Gladys Jannette F. D. V., who is 32 years old, lives in the San José neighborhood in the department of Ahuachapán. She lives with her husband and her two children, who are 8 and 2 years old. They live in her in-laws’ home. Gladys owns a store, where she sells products like food, candies, and stationary, among other things. She and her husband are known as hard-working people. Her husband is 32 years old and has finished secondary school. He is a taxi-driver on a motorcycle, which earns him little income. Because of this, Gladys wants to take out a loan, through which she can increase the amount of products in her store and, in this way, she can have more earnings through which she can contribute to the family’s finances. The loan will also allow her to offer an education to her children, and a better future for her family.
