Zahida M. Arshad Group's story

Zahida baji is a 30 year-old old married lady and a citizen of a city named Multan, Pakistan for the past 15 years. Her husband's name is M. A. and he runs a boutique where he displays his collection which he prepared with the help of his wife Zahida baji. Zahida baji is the mother of one son who has a chicken-meat selling business for the past 2 years. Zahida baji is applying for a loan to buy material (colored thread, cloth and beads) to expand her husband’s boutique.

She is a group leader of some more women from her locality. Asia baji wants a loan to buy cotton to sell. Abida baji wants a loan to buy a donkey cart for loading. Sajida baji wants a loan to buy scrap for her scrap business.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
