Jebaud Lestari Group's story

The Jebaud Lestari group made their payments on their previous loan. All the members of the group attend a meeting where they share their experiences. They manage the pigs well because they give them nutritious feed and vitamins. They also make voluntary saving and give to the Field Officer to keep at MUK.

Ni Kadek has had a satisfactory result with her pigs which grow healthy and big. She sold them all to a large buyer. Now she has enough money to renovate her kitchen. She said many thanks to MUK, Kiva and lenders for supporting her business. She plans to take another loan to increase her business.

To increase the population of pigs, the Jebaud Lestari group decided to take another loan from MUK. This loan will be used buy superior or local piglets and feed and also to renovate the cage.

Ni Kadek will use her loan to purchase local piglets for pig barbeque. She will keep the pigs for 3 months until they reach the maximum weight. The price for 1 kg of pig is between 18.000 IDR andl 22.000 IDR depending on the quality of the meat. Ni Kadek hopes that she will earn enough profit for this period. This time she will save all the profit.
