Daniel's story

The person appearing in the photograph is Daniel.He is seventy four years old, married and a father of five children. He joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa in the year 2013 to learn more skills on enterprise development and financial management. This has helped him to improve his knowledge in business management. He is a maize, beans and banana farmer. Part of the produce is used for family consumption and the rest is for commercial purpose.

He has applied for a loan to purchase farm inputs, fertilizer and seeds. He hopes that this will assist him to boost his business thus increase in income. This will enable improve the living standards of his family which includes quality education for the grand children and a better house.
