Anacleta Anastacia's story

Doña Anacleta Menchú is 30 years old. She is a single mother and lives with her 2 children. She is a seamstress and makes traditional women's clothing. She has three looms and 2 employees working for her business. Doña Anacleta has been making traditional garments for 8 years from her home in the Vásquez Village, located in the Totonicapán district in Guatemala.
Although customer demand has increased, the current economic situation makes it difficult for her to increase her capital. For this reason, Doña Anacleta has turned to the Asociación ASDIR to request a loan to purchase raw materials so that she can increase her weekly sales. With this loan, she hopes to help her children succeed and improve their quality of life.
