A loan helped a member to purchase tires and do some maintenance on his taxi.

Nueva Creación Group's story

In the state of México, there are still some communities that maintain their cultural roots, one in particular of Mazahua origin works to make crafts and traditional woven clothing. Within this community, the group Nueva Creación was formed, which has the goal to grow economically. The four members are Jesún y Eligio who want to invest in timber rent, Elizabet who works making crafts, and Reginaldo who drives a taxi in the community.

Reginaldo is a man who is completely happy and is as dedicated to his work as he is to his family. He is married to Esperanza and they have been married for forty-three years; they have three children who are now independent. Reginaldo has dedicated his life to the world of the automobile, at first selling car parts and later as a taxi driver. With the earnings that he got as a taxi employee he could save up and four years ago the taxi that he drives became completely his own.

Reginaldo's work schedule is from Sunday to Sunday from six in the morning to eight at night and, although it seems difficult, he says "I like to have my own business but above all to drive my own taxi as my job."

With the opportunity of the loan, he will be able to purchase new tires and in addition, to do some maintenance on his vehicle with the objective of offering better customer service. His goal for the future is to be able to purchase another taxi.
