A loan of $200 helped purchase firewood, corn and meat.

Victoria Ridina's story

Victoria is a member of the Marcela Community Bank. She is a 58-year-old single mother of six. She works as an education assistant at a daycare center in the city of Ayacucho. Furthermore, on Sundays Victoria sells typical regional meals out of her home, an activity made possible thanks to the help of her daughter. Victoria is requesting a loan of 600 soles, money which she plans to invest in the purchase of firewood, corn and meat. Her dreams are for her youngest son to be a professional and to expand her business.
