A loan helped to purchase agricultural supplies required for his coffee plantation, which will help him to have more income for his family.

Gustavo's story

Gustavo, age 54, is a small coffee producer. He lives with his wife and two children on his small farm of 6.65 hectares, which is located in the remote community of Jinotega. Because of the difficult access and the distance, the cost of products and daily consumption items is higher. In recent years, this producer has had a crop of approximately 15,000 pounds of pergamino (parchment) coffee, which he produces under the criteria of Fair Trade certification.

For this cycle, he is requiring financing to purchase the agricultural supplies which his coffee plantation requires to achieve better performance and quality. Gustavo's goal is to increase the performance of his land. To reach this goal he is proposing to invest, as all crops will need to be adequately attended to in order to obtain good results.

We encourage you to support this entrepreneur in the achievement of his objectives which will help his family to have better economic conditions.
