A loan of $650 helped buy canned goods to supply his store.

Juan De Dios's story

Mr. Juan de Dios is 52 years old. His business is running a local store which, with much effort, he was able to build up with savings and loans over the last nine years. He lives in Laureles Sur and he and his wife have 2 children, 7 and 14 years old, who are primary school students.

His plan is to be able to buy a vehicle in order avoid paying for a taxi when he goes shopping to fill the inventory of the store because he is not on the route of most of the delivery trucks. With this loan he is going to increase the daily supplies he carries, like canned goods. He hopes to provide better service to his customers and thanks to this loan from Afodenic be able to make his business grow. He hopes later to make it larger, and help his children complete primary school.
